Introduced in September 1963, its few competitors included certain models of Rolls-Royce and Bentley, the Cadillac Fleetwood 75, stretched Lincoln Continental Lehmann-Peterson, and the Chrysler Imperial Crown Ghia. Generally, the short-wheel-base (SWB) 600 models were designed to be owner-driven; the long-wheel-base (LWB) 600, often incorporating a central divider with power window, was intended as chauffeur-driven. Analogous to today's S 600, the 600 was the company's flagship and most expensive model of its time, positioned above the Mercedes-Benz W112. It is also known as the forerunner of the modern Maybach marque. == History == Production began in 1964 and continued through to 1981.〔(''Mercedes-Benz 600 ‘Super Mercedes’ (W 100), 1964 up to 1981'', media.daimler.com ) Retrieved on 30 December 2014〕 During this time, production totalled 2,677 units, comprising 2,190 Saloons, 304 Pullmans, 124 6-door Pullmans and 59 Landaulets.〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Mercedes-Benz 600」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
